Jean-Michel Byron was born and raised in South Africa. He started as a session musician with cover bands and began writing and recording his own songs. One of these recordings went to drummer Bob Colomby, who introduced Byron Toto. He sang as a follow-up to the outgoing front singer Joseph Wiliams with the band for a year on tour with and recorded on their greatest hits album "Past To Present" (1990) four new songs. After his involvement with Toto in 1991 he brought his first solo album Byron on the market. Since then he played on albums of various artists.

Jean-Michel Byron ist in Südafrika geboren und aufgewachsen. Er startete als Session-Musiker mit Coverbands und begann eigene Songs zu schreiben und aufzunehmen. Eine dieser Aufnahmen gelangte zu dem Schlagzeuger Bob Colomby, der Byron Toto vorstellte. Er sang als Nachfolger für den ausgeschiedenen Front-Sänger Joseph Wiliams mit der Band ein Jahr lang auf Tour mit und nahm auch auf deren Greatest-Hits-Album „Past To Present“ (1990) vier neue Songs auf. Georgio Farina met Nana Petrossi at the Musikmesse in Frankfurt.She noticed him with her great singing at a booth of an Italian company that promoted her with a band. Born in Rome, the eternal city, Nana Petrossi developed the love to sing at a young age. For 5 years she took singing lessons in the Accademia Nova in Rome. After graduation, she attended the Saint Louis College of Music for 3 years. In 2005 she took part in the Workshop in Florence "Voice and Alexander Technique" and in 2006 in the workshop "Scuola Popolare di Musica di Testaccio" by Elisabeth Howard. Between 2008 and 2010 she attended the Roma Rock School (Vocal Coach Certificate). In 2018 she attended the professional course "Voice To Teach", passed the final exam and obtained the certificate. Nana Petrossi is an experienced teacher and a brilliant vocal artist. She has made appearances for well-known Italian bands and singers (PFM, Aldo Tagliapietra, Gatto Panceri and others). She performs regularly in many musical styles throughout Italy and works as a session / studio singer. She also owns a music school in Rome.

Daniel Kovac grew up in Yugoslavia, today Slovenia. In 1968 he left his homeland and moved to Germany. As a thirteen-year-old, he founded his first rock band. Since 1979 he also works as a studio singer. At the beginning of the 80's he started to play music professionally with Mario Mendrzycki. Productions with Peter Henderson (Supertramp) and Simon Phillips (The Who, TOTO) followed with the band CALL ME. An English and a German speaking LP was the result. In the 1980s he became a television presenter at the first German music station musicbox in Munich. He also moderated radio broadcasts at Bayerischer Rundfunk. Daniel Kovac was discovered through his studio work by Ralph Siegel. He took part with the song Frei zu leben in duet with Chris Kempers as the winner of the German preliminary decision at the Eurovision Song Contest 1990 and finished with her the ninth place. Georgio Farina has known Daniel since the 80s and after a long separate time Daniel was able to enthuse Daniel for his new production ROCK MEETS GOSPEL.

Produktionen mit Peter Henderson (Supertramp) und Simon Phillips (The Who, TOTO) folgten mit der Band CALL ME. Eine englisch- und eine deutschsprachige LP war die Folge. In den 1980er Jahren wurde er Fernsehmoderator beim ersten deutschen Musiksender musicbox in München. Außerdem moderierte er Radiosendungen beim Bayerischen Rundfunk. Daniel Kovac wurde durch seine Studioarbeit von Ralph Siegel entdeckt. Matthias Preißinger received his first piano lessons at the age of 8 years. After autodidactic studies in the field of jazz, he established himself in 1976 as a keyboardist in the Munich jazz and fusion scene. He played also with Klaus Doldingers Passport and Harald Rüschenbaum Bigband. 1984-89 he studied classical composition at the Musikhochschule Munich with Dieter Acker and Wilhelm Killmayer. Highlights of his career include concerts and tours with Paquito D'Rivera, Dave Valentin, Bobby Shew, Claudio Roditi and Robbie Ameen. He leads the Hard Days Night Big Band and teaches Jazz Theory at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich.

Matthias Preißinger erhielt seinen ersten Klavierunterricht im Alter von 8 Jahren. Nach autodidaktischen Studien im Bereich Jazz etablierte er sich ab 1976 als Keyboarder in der Münchner Jazz- und Fusionszene.Er spielte u.a. mit Klaus Doldingers Passport und der Harald Rüschenbaum Bigband. 1984-89 studierte er klassische Komposition an der Musikhochschule München bei Dieter Acker und Wilhelm Killmayer. Zu den Höhepunkten seiner Laufbahn gehören Konzerte und Tourneen mit Paquito D‘Rivera, Dave Valentin, Bobby Shew, Claudio Roditi und Robbie Ameen. Er leitet unter anderem die Hard Days Night Bigband und unterrichtet Jazz Theorie an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater in München.

Mani Gruber has been working successfully in the music industry for almost 40 years. As a musician and guitarist (Skybus, BoysVoice), producer and composer, he is the mastermind and operator of the Maniac Studio, his fourth studio by now. Mani is arguably the most involved co-creator on Rock Meets Gospel. Because he is not only a guitarist and fellow musicians, but also the creative mind in the studio when recording and mixing alongside Georgio Farina. In many years of studio and live experience, he has learned everything that belongs to the good sound. With bands like Boysvoice, ABBA 99, Glam Gang and many other projects he has been on countless stages. Rainer Hausmann first encountered Georgio Farina in the 1980s, in the band Defroster; et al with the members Stephanos Logothetis (drums) and Guillermo Marchena (vocals) from the formation Head, Heart & Hands. After a long split time and a successful search for Rainer, the circle in the production ROCK MEETS GOSPEL also joins the Georgio Farina's LifeLine Project Band with his virtuoso and melodic guitar playing.
